Drawing the line

Learning from change, one interaction at a time.

I currently live in an area that experienced a geological event. I can hear the trauma as the stories of survival are retold. This is a place that was considered safe, protected by the mountains. Although flooding occurred in the past, the storms were not frequent. There was a sense of safety compared to other areas, such as hurricane alley or the fires of the western states. Whether a tropical storm or hurricane, Helene destroyed the sense of safety.

Change. Significant change. A clear before and after Helene level of change.

My writing is not a storm. My intent is not to harm, but rather to destroy abuse that is cloaked in lies and manipulation. I write for change. I write to change. I write as witness to the before and after of change, to explore the result of new insight, new understanding, new connections.
